What should i do for my bunny?

My bunny had an eye infection a while ago and i was prescribed a treatment to put in his eye and then i pill. I kept using as directed and it worked very well so after a while of being better, i stopped the medication. He was well for a long, long time (this was in the winter when it happened first) now it is summer and he has gotten the same thing again but not as bad and the pill seemed to give him a stomache ach last time so i don't use that but i use the topical treatment (directly for the eye) I was used 2 times a day but since it is not as bad i now use it one and he seems to be loosing bunch of hair around the eye so i am going to give him the medication twice a day now and i was wondering if there is anything else i can do to help get his eye better besides the medications. The infected eye does not bother him at all. He eats, drinks and hops around happily Thanks for any answers :)
