Monolid and Double Lid eyes on the same face?

I have an eye noticably smaller than the other one, and It's bothering me very much that I don't look people in the eye when I talk to them. I have a single eyelid on my right eye, and a double eye lid on my other. Is there something that I can do to fix this? I don't know much about make up, or anything. But please suggestions? it kind of always taken a blow to my confidence.
